As a downpour continued to drench Mexico City, making even the heartiest of fans at the CU question their decision - or at least the quality of their plastic poncho - Ozziel Herrera added his second goal of the night and the third for Tigres.
It was a convincing victory over Pumas. Even on a night when Pumas played a decent game, they couldn’t deal with the Tigres attack.
Tigres did not look like a team in need of another attacking option.

Yet another attacking option is what Tigres now has after acquiring Uriel Antuna from Cruz Azul during the week.
“Antuna is another player, another addition to our squad who shows the level we need to get to the championship,” Tigres manager Veljko Paunović said after the victory.
