Welcome to Getting Concacafed!

What is this thing?

Getting CONCACAFed is a newsletter featuring reported stories, features and opinion on soccer in North America, Central America and the Caribbean. I look to report out and/or opine on the biggest stories in the region and also tell some stories you’d never would’ve heard about from traditional sports media outlets.

If you understand what it means when a team “Gets Concacafed,” then, welcome. You’re among friends here.

Who are you?

I’m Jon Arnold. I’ve covered Concacaf for around a decade. I worked at Goal covering Mexico and Concacaf and am the Concacaf expert for the BBC’s World Football Phone-In.

At the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow ahead of Mexico’s 1-0 win over Germany.

OK, I’m in. What now?
